Global Technology and Business Services is the collective name for teams delivering innovative, reliable, and secure technology capabilities that enable Cardinal Health customers to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment. In her role as CIO, Greene manages the teams charged with those collaborative functions including Digital and Commercial Technologies, Pharma and Medical segment IT, Global Business Services and Information Security.
- Digital and Commercial Technologies teams focus on improving experiences for customers, patients, employees and suppliers through the power of data and analytics, user experience design and commercial products and services.
- Our Technology teams across the Pharmaceutical and Medical segment are responsible for overall IT service delivery including strategic planning, applications maintenance and support and new project implementations.
- The Global Business Services team is responsible for defining and running globally integrated processes across the company, as well as driving business improvement and process simplification by leveraging digital technologies and through a service oriented, metrics driven and continuous improvement mind-set.
Before joining Cardinal Health, Greene served as the Vice President, Information Technology for Masco Corporation based in Livonia, Michigan. In this role, she was responsible for aligning the IT strategies and initiatives supporting Masco’s corporate functions and overall business objectives. In addition to providing leadership for the Corporate IT organization, she directed the planning and implementation of corporate IT solutions and led Masco’s enterprise-wide IT strategy for shared services, information security, and data analytics initiatives.
Greene has held technology oriented roles with increasing responsibility at companies like Johnson Controls and Sony Ericsson.
In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities at Cardinal Health, Greene serves on the board for Goodwill of Southeastern Wisconsin, serves as the Vice Chair for Goodwill Manufacturing, Inc. subsidiary, and is a member of the DE&I Taskforce. Additionally, she serves on the board for GreenPath Financial Wellness as Vice Chair and Chair of the Audit Committee. Greene is also on the board for Detroit Public Television (DPTV) and is a member of the HR and Comp Committee. Lastly, she is an active member of ITSMF (IT Senior Management Forum), Chief and Black Women on Boards.
Greene earned a bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University and a master’s degree from Florida State University with a focus on Information Sciences.
