Dr. Todd M. Fruchterman is President and Chief Executive Officer at Butterfly Network. His broad-based experience spans the clinical, scientific, regulatory, and business arenas. In industry he has focused on creating value in businesses with a passion for creative problem solving, innovation and excellence in execution, and has successfully commercialized and scaled disruptive technologies throughout his career.
Dr. Fruchterman holds 11 patents, has served on the board of directors of AdvaMed, and in 2019, was a core participant in the U.S. Department of HHS Deputy Secretary’s Innovation and Investment Summit. He is also a business advisor at Spindletop Capital, LLC and has served on the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics Executive Advisory Board, the Executive Committee of BioMed SA of San Antonio, the Board of Directors for LifeScience Alley and the Board of Directors of the Texas Life Science Center. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biological Basis of Behavior and Medical Doctorate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, and his Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Louisville, Kentucky.
