Taryn L. Salmon oversees our enterprise operations, information technology, strategic data & analytics, information security, digital banking, enterprise operational excellence, enterprise application development & management, business continuity and the bank’s enterprise project management office.

Ms. Salmon joined the bank in 2019 as Executive Vice President and Director of Business Service Management after serving more than 20 years in key technology & operations leadership roles in the banking and aerospace industries. She was promoted to Sr. Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer in 2020, becoming a member of our Executive Committee that same year.

Prior to joining the bank, she held several top leadership roles with Zions Bancorporation in business technology, digital banking, fraud engineering, architecture & planning, application development and project management, as well as serving as Senior Executive Director of Technology for Orbital ATK Propulsion Systems leading technology operations and software engineering.

Ms. Salmon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business information systems, with an emphasis in computer science, from Utah State University. She currently serves on the board of Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii (RCUH) and the board of Girl Scouts of Hawaii, and has shared her passion for banking and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by serving as a community volunteer-instructor and mentor for many years.
