Tench Coxe was a managing director of Sutter Hill Ventures, a venture capital investment firm, from 1989 until December 31, 2020. He joined that firm in 1987 following his tenure with Digital Communications Associates in Atlanta. Prior to that, he worked with Lehman Brothers in New York City, where he was a corporate financial analyst specializing in mergers and acquisitions as well as debt and equity financing. Mr. Coxe was a member of Artisan Partners’ Advisory Committee from January 1995 to the completion of Artisan Partners Asset Management’s initial public offering.

Mr. Coxe holds a BA in economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the board of directors of Nvidia Corporation.
