Robert Kasdin is one of ARI’s Directors. Mr. Kasdin is a senior vice president and chief operating officer of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins Medicine, he served as senior executive vice president of Columbia University. Prior to joining Columbia University, he served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of the University of Michigan. Before his service at the University of Michigan, he was the treasurer and chief investment officer for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and served as vice president and general counsel for Princeton University Investment Company. He began his career as a corporate attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. Mr. Kasdin served on the Board of Directors of Noranda Aluminum Holding Corporation (NYSE: NOR) an Apollo affiliate, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Harbor Funds. Mr. Kasdin is also a trustee of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Kasdin earned his A.B. from Princeton University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
