Prior to her retirement in December 2018, Ms. Barrett was employed by The Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE:HD) for sixteen years, commencing in January 2003, serving in various roles of increasing responsibility, finally as Senior Vice President - Home Services. Prior to her employment by The Home Depot, Ms. Barrett was employed by Cousins Properties Incorporated for eleven years in various senior financial roles, including ultimately that of Senior Vice President - Chief Financial Officer. During that time, she was active in the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) as an Accounting Committee Co-Chairperson and member of the Best Financial Practices Council. She has been a licensed CPA in Georgia since 1988. Ms. Barrett is a graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with a concentration in Accounting.
