John previously served as our Lead Independent Director from April 2007 to January 2018. John served as the President of Stanford University from September 2000 to August 2016. John was previously a director and a member of the nominating and governance committee and acquisition committee of Cisco Systems, Inc., a networking equipment company, from January 2002 to December 2018.
