Kurt Lefevere Biography and Net Worth

Kurt Lefevere is president, Asia, at Air Products. He is responsible for driving the strategy and profitability of the company’s business in Asia.

Mr. Lefevere joined Air Products in 1994 as a participant in the company’s Career Development Program, where he held positions in marketing, sales and retail service in Belgium and the U.K. In 1996 he became responsible for food and cryogenic sales activities in Belgium and subsequently was named European marketing manager for the food segment in 1998. In 2001 Mr. Lefevere was transferred to Germany where he became the business manager for the food and cryogenic segment in Germany. He was named European commercial manager for Specialty Gases in 2003, plant manager for European Specialty Gases plants in 2008, and he assumed overall accountability for the Specialty Gases segment in Europe in 2010. Mr. Lefevere was transferred in 2011 to Taiwan, where he was appointed general manager for the Packaged Gases division in Asia, followed by a move in 2013 to Air Products’ corporate headquarters in Allentown, Pa. (U.S.), where he was named manager, strategy development and performance management, for the company’s Global Merchant division. He was appointed vice president, Northern Continent, in 2015 and served in that role before being named to his current position.

Mr. Lefevere holds a degree in engineering from the University of Leuven (Belgium) and an MBA from the University of Antwerp.
