Ann Lewnes is the chief marketing officer and executive vice president of corporate strategy and development for Adobe, one of the world’s most well-known software and design companies.

Lewnes started with Adobe in 2006 and quickly rose to the position of CMO, a title she’s now held for over a decade. Under her leadership, Adobe has become known for creativity, design, and innovation—the first choice for designers. She is responsible for the company’s marketing, corporate strategy, and M&A efforts worldwide. Prior to her career at Adobe, Lewnes spent over 20 years as the vice president of marketing for Intel. While working at Intel, Lewnes played a key role in creating a campaign around microprocessors, which turned into the now-iconic Intel Inside campaign. By the time she left for Adobe, Lewnes had watched Intel grow from a company worth $1 billion to one worth $40 billion. 

In 2019, Lewnes was inducted into the American Marketing Association’s Hall of Fame, and in 2020, she received the New York Women in Communication’s Matrix Award. She has been named one of Forbes’ “World’s Most Influential CMOs” and one of Business Insider’s “Most Innovative CMOs.” She has also been inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement. 

Lewnes currently serves on the boards of Mattel and the Sundance Institute. She earned her B.A. in international relations and journalism from Lehigh University.
