Joe Manning is Abbott's Executive Vice President, Nutritional Products, defining the strategic vision for our global nutrition business and leading Abbott's efforts to create science-based nutritional products for people of all ages.

Prior to assuming this role in December 2021, Joe served as Senior Vice President, International Nutrition, responsible for commercial operations in Southeast Asia, Europe/Middle East/Africa and Latin America.

Since joining Abbott in Canada as a sales representative in 1995, Joe has held a variety of roles within Abbott's Pharmaceutical and Nutrition organizations. Prior to his current appointment, Joe served within Abbott Nutrition as Commercial Director for Europe/Canada, as General Manager starting our commercial operations in Russia/CIS countries, as General Manager in Indonesia and as Vice President, Nutrition, Asia Pacific.

While in Russia, Joe served as an advisor to Deti Nashe, initiating programs whose goal is to enroll and educate caregivers in orphanages on how to decrease social disorders related to children’s prolonged institutionalization.

Joe received his bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
